Everything sunresto does, and how it fits together

sunresto builds and runs a restaurant from what you already have. Start with the concepts below, or just paste a link to Remy and watch it happen.

Getting started

Give Remy a link, a menu PDF, or a description. It pulls your branding, menu, prices, suppliers and socials and builds a complete restaurant you can run today.

The platform

One establishment is one tenant. Access is by capability (orders:refund, hr:payroll), never a coarse role — and enforced three times: in the UI, the server action, and the database.

Security by row

Every table carries a restaurant, and row-level security means one restaurant can never read another’s data — proven, not promised. The app role holds no bypass.

Your storefront

A commission-free ordering site on your own domain, generated from your menu, with SEO pages and structured data. Orders build your CRM, not a marketplace’s.

The cockpit

Run the whole operation in one place: orders and kitchen, till and cash, reservations, stock and purchasing, planning and HR, accounting and statistics.

Media & documents

Photos and documents are first-class and tenant-scoped: public visuals on a CDN, private documents behind a signed, capability-gated route. Franchise-aware.

How a restaurant is built

You give Remy a source — your current website, a menu as a PDF or photo, a POS export, or a plain description. Remy reads it, extracts every dish with its price, VAT and allergens, and structures a full catalogue. It sets up your storefront, your suppliers and your first service, then stays on to run it with you.

What stays true

  • Money is integer cents. A total is a sum of integers — exact, reproducible, and reconciling to the cent with your payment provider.
  • What changes over time is dated, not overwritten. A price, a wage, a contract keeps its history — because accounting and payroll need it.
  • What is billed is frozen. An order line copies the price at the moment of sale, so a later menu change never rewrites last month’s revenue.
  • The business day, not the calendar day. A sale at 00:30 belongs to the previous evening’s service, in the establishment’s own timezone.

The API

A public REST API and webhooks are on the roadmap — keys arrive with them. Today the platform is built API-first underneath, so nothing you set up now has to be rebuilt to expose it later.

See it on your own menu

The fastest way to understand sunresto is to paste your link to Remy and watch a restaurant appear.
